Dear SAME, We are sorry that you cancelled our reservation. We appreciate your thoughtfulness in making us a new reservation for May 26 to 30. However, since we didn't know about any of this until we arrived at the front desk of the hotel, we were unable to reschedule our friends' wedding accordingly. As it turned out, we did manage to distract the night clerk from his solitaire game and important personal calls long enough to arrange a one-night stay at the Sleep Inn. Donna had replaced the night clerk by the time we left, and she was very apologetic and friendly about the whole situation. The next day we found an excellent Hampton Inn. Sincerely, ***** |
